For the first time Copenhagen Fashion Film is hosting a grand awardshow that will be celebrating the best international and Nordic fashion short films from 2015.
The films are in competition for Best International Fashion Film 2015, Best New Talent, Best Message, Best Idea and the special prize for Best Nordic Talent. Award winners will be elected by a highly acclaimed international jury consisting of some of today’ s key players within fashion and film at the Copenhagen Fashion Film 2016 Award Show.
After the prize-giving we celebrate the winners by inviting everybody to stay and rock the dancefloor. Dj Maria Barfod will make sure you can’t stand still!

Jonas Åkerlund, film director
Renowned Swedish director Jonas Åkerlund has made his mark with his distinctive storytelling and visually driven signature style. He is an internationally awarded director known for his music videos for the likes of The Prodigy, Beyoncé, Rolling Stones, Madonna and many more. His work also includes fashion films, commercials and documentaries.
Kathryn Ferguson, film director, curator and fashion film research fellow
Kathryn Ferguson has made several highly acclaimed films for musicians, fashion designers and international brands such as Chloé, Selfridges, Vogue, Lady Gaga and SHOWstudio. A huge part of her work is focused around the creation of more positive representations of femininity within advertising, fashion and music content.
Matt Lambert, film director and photographer
Themes of sexuality, identity and intimacy permeate the work of LA-born filmmaker Matt Lambert, and are explored in his work across narrative film, experimental documentary, music, video and fashion. Tribeca Film Festival named Lambert one of the ten filmmakers of the future, and Dazed put him on their list of top 100 creative influencers of 2015.
Marie Schuller film director and Head of Fashion Film at SHOWStudio
Marie Schuller is a London based filmmaker specialised in fashion content. She has among others directed campaign films for Givenchy, Versace and Selfridges, launching films on NOWNESS.com, Dazed Digital and SHOWstudio. Her award-winning fashion films have been screened at festivals and exhibitions around the world.
Andreas Emenius, visual artist and film director
Andreas Emenius works in a place between fine art, performance and popular culture, where painting, sculpture, body, costumes, sound and video equally become part of the overall composition. He collaborates with artists such as Trentemøller, Jenny Wilson and Henrik Vibskov. Emenius also works as a curator and is the co-founder of Nordic Contemporary in Paris.
Ane Lynge-Jorlén, fashion scholar and curator
Ane Lynge-Jorlén is a Danish independent fashion scholar and curator specialised in contemporary and experimental fashion. She is behind the exhibitions “Dark Angels – the Parisian Fashion House Peachoo+Krejberg 2004-2014” at Rundetaarn and “Clash – Resistance in Fashion” at HEART Herning Museum of Contemporary Art.
Betina Simonsen, CEO of Innonet Lifestyle-Interior & Clothing
The managing director of the national cluster Innonet Lifestyle – Interior & Clothing. The purpose of the cluster is to enhance cooperation, growth and internationalisation within the Interior and Clothing sectors of Denmark. Betina Simonsen has a background from more than ten years international management positions within the Interior & Clothing industry and as head of education at Via Design.
