Belfast born Kathryn Ferguson is a Film director, Selfridges Resident Film Director & Consultant and Fashion Film Research Fellow at UAL. She has made many films for fashion designers, international brands, and musicians including Chloé, Selfridges, Vogue, Dev Hynes & Neneh Cherry, Lady Gaga, and SHOWstudio. Her films have been screened globally at film festivals and on platforms such as Dazed Digital, Nowness, BBC, in Vogue and appeared on BOF’s Top 10 Fashion Films of the Season. Film festivals and screenings include the Berlinale, the V&A, the Pompidou Centre, ASVOFF and more. As a director, a huge part of Kathryn’s work is focused on the creation of more positive representations of femininity within advertising, fashion, and music content. Kathryn also works as a curator specializing in the emerging genre of fashion film.
