Themes of sexuality and identity permeate the work of LA-born filmmaker Matt Lambert. Working on narrative film, experimental documentary, music, video, and fashion, Lambert recently took on his first project for a major US network. Tribeca Film Festival named Lambert one of the ten filmmakers of the future, and Dazed put him on their list of top 100 creative influencers of 2015. Having spent time in New York and London, he now calls Berlin his home and works under lauded production company Iconoclast. Selected clients include Patrick Wolf, Hercules and Love Affair, Austra, Gucci, Channel 4, BBC, i-D, Wonderland, Marc Jacobs, Dazed, and Butt. Lambert’s recent photobook, Keim, captures moments from gay youth culture – a preoccupation to be revisited in an upcoming homo punk zine project.
