Described as the best film of the century by some critics, The Grand Budapest Hotel follows the adventures of Gustave H – a legendary concierge at a famous hotel from the fictional Republic of Zubrowka between the first and second World Wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend.
The costumes are made by the Italian costume designer Milena Canonero, who has won four Academy Awards for Best Costume Design and been nominated for the award nine times. Her previous work includes costumes for Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette and Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange among many others. Prada and Fendi also play a small part in the film – so come and see if you can spot them!
