The True Cost is about clothes. The clothes we wear, the people who make it and the effect the clothing industry has on our planet. The price of clothes has been declining for decades, while the human and environmental costs have increased dramatically. The film unveils the challenges of Fast Fashion and invites us on a journey to the places and people who pay the price for it.
