Asger Juel Larsen is a Danish designer that marks and merits the adventurous and rule-breaking reinvention of modern menswear. Hailing from Denmark but truly establishing his work in the UK. Asger graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2011 with a MA Menswear Degree with placements alongside John Richmond and Burberry Prorsum included in the tapestry of his background.

Asger is a storyteller; one that laces dystopian tales to reverse stereotypes and take streetwear out of its comfort zone. The attitude of the aesthetic is ambitious, ambiguous, and charged with statement on both a visual and emotional level.

Music, performance, history, and propaganda play both a central and collaborative role in the collections, celebrating hidden cultures and beauty in the breakdown. This sense of individuality and expression has become widely receptive and embraced on an international basis, from the US to Asia and Europe. Asger won the highly acclaimed International Woolmark Prize in the European regional menswear sector, giving fuel to the underground aesthetic.

His work has been consistently evolving throughout the years, illustrating ambition and flare in the imagination.

While Asger steadily works on his collections, he also participates as jury-member, does career talks and lectures as well as curates new artists through the Red Bull Sound Select Platform.

Currently Asger is working on a new thrilling project, which is to be revealed in 2018.
