One of the biggest fashion film heroines passed away today.

Today we lost one of the greatest. Actress, beauty and fashion icon, Anita Ekberg, died today aged 83. The Swedish starlet excelled in Federico Fellini’s movie La Dolce Vita (1960), where she with impeccable style walked through the Trevi Fontain in Rome in one of the most iconic scenes in film history.

Ekberg stars alongside Sophia Loren in Boccaccio 70 (1962), which is featured in this year’s Copenhagen Fashion Film festival programme. Read more about the film here.
